Revd. Sue Hardwidge
Since 2008 Sue has been the full-time Baptist Minister at Great Ashby partially supported by a grant from the Home Mission department of the Baptist Union. She trained for ministry in 1993 and has pastored churches in Tring and Birmingham. Sue is a governor at Round Diamond School and part of the local Community Group boh of which reflect her belief that part of the role of the church is to reach out to the local community and demonstrate God's love in action. Sue is married to Martin and they have two grown-up sons. Sue is an able pianist and singer and enjoys cooking (and eating), reading and movies as long as they are slushy and romantic.
Now that he has retired from the Civil Service, John is a Magistrate in North Herts. He has served in various leadership roles in a number of churches over the years. He has been part of the leadership of Great Ashby Community Church for several years. He is married with grown up children and 4 grandchildren. He enjoys a game of golf and other hobbies, when time permits, include bird-watching, photography and philately.
