Who's Who
OUR TRUSTEES
Our church is led by a group of elected trustees who meet monthly to reflect, plan and pray for the church and its fellowship. These trustees are chosen by our members and serve for a term of three years.
REVEREND
DAVID WARBOYS
Minister
David has been minister of the church since 2021 and joined us after graduating from Spurgeon's College. He has a keen interest in sports and history. He lives with his wife Connie and their two dogs Darcy and Lyla.
OLUSEYE JEGEDE
Treasurer
"I'm Temitayo Jegede, more commonly know as Oluseye. I moved to Stevenage in 2009. I joined Great Ashby Community Church about a year later and it has been my church family ever since. I currently serve as church treasurer."
KAREN CHALK
Trustee
Karen attends GACC with her husband and children. Coming from a Christian family she has attended church her whole life being part of baptist, Anglican and Catholic Churches along the way. In church she helps with singing, preaching and making cakes. In her day job she is a scientist.
CAREN PORTER
Trustee
Caren joined GACC in 2008 where she sings with the worship group and occasionally leads services. She worked in banking for several years before retraining as a complimentary therapist. She is married with grown up twin daughters and five wonderful grandchildren. She enjoys reading, singing and quizzing.
MOHAN TAYLOR
Trustee
Mohan has been a trustee of GACC in the early days of the church plant. He helps out with the sound/AV and is occasionally seen playing the guitar and leading worship. Mohan is married with three children.
